DUBAI- Emirates Airline (EK) plans to increase service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) to six flights per week starting May 2026. The additional frequency strengthens the carrier’s position in Central Florida and reflects sustained demand on the long-haul route.
The Dubai–Orlando service is the airline’s only nonstop link to Central Florida and mainly supports leisure travelers, theme park visitors, and global connections via Dubai International Airport (DXB). The change already appears in the Emirates booking system, although external schedule databases are still being updated.

Emirates Adds 6th Daily Flight to Orlando
Emirates intends to add the sixth weekly flight on Thursdays, bringing the total to six round-trip services per week between Dubai and Orlando, Ishrion Aviation flagged.
The upgrade follows consistent passenger demand and creates greater schedule flexibility for travelers connecting through Dubai to the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and beyond.
The route is currently operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, and the additional service is expected to use the same aircraft type.
The airline previously operated the route less than daily, so any added frequency represents a notable increase in available capacity.
The move also supports Orlando’s continued growth as one of the busiest leisure destinations in the United States, welcoming millions of international visitors each year.

Boeing 777-300ER Expected To Operate Flight
The Boeing 777-300ER remains a core part of the Emirates fleet and is well-suited to the Dubai–Orlando sector thanks to its range and passenger capacity. The aircraft provides Economy and Business Class service, with First Class available on select frames. Cabin assignments may vary depending on operational needs.
Emirates has been enhancing parts of its 777 fleet, including interior upgrades and additional premium product refinements on some aircraft.
While final confirmation from the airline is pending, the new frequency listed on its own booking platform signals strong confidence in the route’s long-term performance, SimpleFlying reported.
