An expansion of long-haul capacity between the Middle East and Central Florida has been outlined by Emirates Airline, with plans in place to increase service on the Dubai–Orlando route beginning in May 2026. The airline is set to operate six round-trip flights per week between Dubai International Airport and Orlando International Airport, up from the current schedule.
The additional frequency has been positioned as a response to sustained demand on the long-distance corridor. The route serves as the carrier’s only nonstop connection to Central Florida, providing direct access for international travelers while linking Orlando with Emirates’ wider global network through Dubai. The updated schedule has already appeared within the airline’s internal booking systems, while broader schedule databases are in the process of being aligned.
Weekly Frequency Increase and Schedule Adjustment
Under the revised plan, a sixth weekly service is intended to be introduced on Thursdays. This adjustment brings the total to six departures and six returns each week between Dubai and Orlando. The change increases travel options across the week and allows for improved itinerary planning for passengers using Dubai as a transfer point.
Greater scheduling choice has been enabled for travelers connecting onward through Dubai to regions already served within the existing network, including the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The increase has been structured to support leisure-oriented traffic while also accommodating passengers continuing to long-haul destinations beyond the Gulf hub.

Cabin configurations on the aircraft include Economy Class and Business Class seating, with First Class available on selected frames. Cabin availability has been structured to vary depending on operational requirements, ensuring flexibility across the fleet. Portions of the 777 fleet have also been undergoing interior enhancements, with select aircraft receiving upgraded cabins and refined premium features.
Orlando as a Major International Tourism Destination
Orlando continues to attract a high volume of international visitors each year, supported by its globally recognized entertainment offerings and leisure infrastructure.
