TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A great weekend of events will start off with great weather.
Spectacular Saturday:
As you are heading out and about Saturday morning, temperatures start cool again in the 50s and 60s.
By lunch, temperatures will be in the upper 70s and humidity will still be tolerable.
A little toasty with temperatures reaching the mid-80s with sunny skies. If you are heading to the FAMU homecoming game, temperatures will stay in the upper 70s to low 80s throughout the game.

Scattered storms return on Sunday
The next cold front is expected to arrive on Sunday. Some changes to the forecast, rain chances do look higher today than we thought yesterday.
Showers and storms arrive tomorrow morning and linger through the early afternoon.(WCTV)
Showers and storms will arrive in the area late morning and early afternoon. The rain should be done by 4 p.m.
Storms could bring gusty winds and heavy rainfall. While this will not be a drought-busting rain, it will help some.

The winds ahead of the front could bring waves up to 3 feet this weekend.

Drier and cooler next week:
After the front from Sunday passes, dry air returns to the area. Mostly sunny for Monday and cooler with highs in the low 80s.
More sunshine Tuesday through the end of the week. Morning lows in the 50s and afternoon highs in the low 80s.
