Officers said they saw Sean Cronin, 39, in the act of stealing mail from a number of open mailboxes at the apartment complex. Cronin was arrested without incident at the scene.Cronin told officers that he was “picking up all the mail” at the complex, according to an arrest report. Officers did not observe a mail truck or Cronin wearing a mailman’s uniform at the time of the incident.Police found Cronin to be in possession of burglary tools and a large amount of mail from several apartment complexes in the area. The bicycle he was riding at the time of his arrest was also found to be stolen, according to police.Police said Cronin is facing charges of grand theft, loitering and prowling, possession of burglary tools and possession of personal identification information.
