The 2025 Jacksonville Jaguars under Liam Coen have accomplished something that only two other teams have in NFL history.
With Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans, the Jaguars secured the AFC South title and their 13th win of the season.

A year ago at this time, the Jaguars finished the 2024 season with a record of 4-13. Now they sit at 13-4 and are hosting a playoff game.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 2025 Jaguars join the 2025 Patriots and the 1999 Colts as the only teams in league history to win 13 or more games in a season after losing 13 or more games.
It’s been a tremendous Year 1 turnaround, sparked by one of the most productive offenses in football over the second half of the season, led by Trevor Lawrence, and a takeaway-heavy defense.
Perhaps what stands out the most about this Coen-led Jaguars team is their resiliency.

After blowing a 19-point fourth-quarter lead to Houston, the Jaguars were 5-4, and it felt like a fork in the road moment for this team. But since then, Jacksonville has won six games in a row, which tells us a lot about the makeup of this team under Coen’s leadership.
