Former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence closed out the regular season with one of the best performances of his NFL career, guiding the Jacksonville Jaguars to a division title in emphatic fashion.
Lawrence completed 22 of 30 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns as Jacksonville rolled to a 41–7 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. All three touchdown throws came in the first half, helping the Jaguars seize control early while finishing the regular season at 13–4.
The day carried added significance for Lawrence, who was playing on his daughter Shae’s first birthday. He arrived at the stadium wearing a custom shirt in her honor and proceeded to deliver a milestone-filled outing. With his three touchdown passes, Lawrence set a new franchise record with 38 total touchdowns on the season, combining 29 passing scores with nine rushing touchdowns. He also eclipsed the 4,000-yard passing mark for the third time in his pro career.
Jacksonville had already clinched a playoff spot entering the final week, but the win secured the AFC South title and a home playoff game. The Jaguars enter the postseason red hot, having won eight straight games and nine of their last 10 since the bye week.
Lawrence’s performance capped a strong bounce-back season in his fifth year, positioning Jacksonville as one of the hottest teams heading into the playoffs, where the Jaguars will host Buffalo in the wild card round.
