POLICE PUT UP THIS POLICE TAPE, THE INVESTIGATORS AND INVESTIGATION ALL SEEMS TO BE CENTERED AROUND TEAL JEWELERS. AND I TALKED TO PEOPLE WHO WORK AT THIS JEWELRY STORE. THEY SAY THERE WAS ARMED ROBBERY HERE IN. THEY’RE TELLING ME ONE OF THE MANAGERS WAS IN THE STORE AT THE TIME. IT HAPPENED AROUND 10:09AM, BEFORE THE STORE OPENED FOR THE DAY. THEY TELL ME THAT NO ONE’S BEEN ARRESTED YET. AND DEPUTIES ARE STILL SEARCHING. BUT POLICE HAVEN’T CONFIRMED THAT. THEY’RE NOT SAYING ANYTHING MORE THAN THIS IS AN ACTIVE INVESTIGATION RIGHT NOW. BUT EARLIER THERE WAS THE ROAD THAT WAS BLOCKED OFF BY THE PLAZA. WE SAW POLICE WALKING AROUND THE BUILDING WITH GUNS DRAWN. WE TALKED TO A GUY THAT WORKED AT KIA OF CAPE CORAL AND THIS IS WHAT HE SAID. WHEN I GOT HERE. THEY WERE KIND OF POSTED UP. >> GOING SEE IF ANYONE LEAVING TO GO IN AND THEN SOUGHT CLOUD, GET OUT AND YOU KNOW THE STUFF ON AND HE WAS ARMED.
