Traffic will be significantly delayed on State Road 84 east of Interstate 95 in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday afternoon after a crash between a tractor-trailer and multiple cars, according to a fire rescue official.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m., Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue crews were responding to the scene in the eastbound lanes of State Road 84, spokesperson Frank Guzman said in a statement. Multiple people were injured, though all injuries were minor, he said.
Crews are cleaning up diesel fuel leaking from the tractor-trailer, he said.
While clean-up is underway, heavy delays are expected in the area, and drivers should use other routes, the city said in a statement.
