Florida State landed Auburn quarterback transfer Ashton Daniels on Tuesday Morning. However, that isn’t stopping them from exploring all options at the position.

The Seminoles are turning their attention to the JUCO ranks, according to Noles247’s Brendan Sonnone. They have extended an offer to Tre Guerra out of Tyler Junior College in Keller, Texas.

Guerra is the No. 58 overall player, the No. 2 quarterback, and the No. 3 prospect from Texas per 247Sports JUCO rankings.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder threw for 2,811 yards and 24 touchdowns with 14 interceptions while completing 62% of his passes in 2025 while leading them to an 11-1 record. In seven games in 2024, Guerra threw for 999 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions.

The aforementioned Daniels is the presumed starter for FSU in the 2026 season. If Guerra were to commit, he’d battle Kevin Sperry and Jaden O’Neal for the primary backup spot.
