Officers from the Cape Coral Police Department arrested a man accused of street racing on Jan. 3.Officers say that they spotted a silver Toyota Supra and a yellow Ford Mustang accelerating quickly at a green light on northeast Pine Island Road and Santa Barbara Boulevard. They add that they managed to stop the driver of the Mustang, Donovan Jacob Ingram, 20. CCPD says Ingram stated he was only trying to catch up with the Supra because he likes the car.Officers arrested Ingram and charged him with street racing. Officers from the Cape Coral Police Department arrested a man accused of street racing on Jan. 3.

Officers say that they spotted a silver Toyota Supra and a yellow Ford Mustang accelerating quickly at a green light on northeast Pine Island Road and Santa Barbara Boulevard.

They add that they managed to stop the driver of the Mustang, Donovan Jacob Ingram, 20. CCPD says Ingram stated he was only trying to catch up with the Supra because he likes the car.
