The Barnes & Noble bookstore coming to Port St. Lucie will open in 2026.

Opening day is planned for Feb. 18, according to Barnes & Noble spokesperson Janine Flanigan.

The over 13,000-square-foot store will be at 1745 St. Lucie West Blvd. in Town Center at St. Lucie West, where Party City used to be.

“Barnes & Noble is enjoying a period of tremendous growth as the strategy to hand control of each bookstore to its local booksellers has proven so successful,” the bookseller said in a February news release. “In 2024, Barnes & Noble opened more new bookstores in a single year than it had in the whole decade from 2009 to 2019.”

This will be the second Barnes & Noble on the Treasure Coast. There is one at 3001 N.W. Federal Highway in Jensen Beach.
