The first restaurant casualties of 2026 occurred Jan. 5 in Collier and Lee counties. Kelly’s Roast Beef permanently closed two of its regional franchise locations, leaving one still operating in Collier County.

The locations shuttered are at Founders Square on Immokalee Road in North Naples, and on Dani Drive near Topgolf at the Interstate 75 and Colonial Boulevard interchange in Fort Myers. 

The Kelly’s Roast Beef location that launched last March in the Gateway Shoppes at North Bay remains open on the northwest corner of U.S. 41 North and Wiggins Pass Road in North Naples.

A Boston-based concept, Kelly’s is known for its North Shore roast beef sandwiches and New England seafood. AAM15 Management, a private equity firm, acquired Kelly’s Roast Beef in early 2025, including the original Massachusetts locations and the brand’s franchising.Â
