The Jacksonville Jaguars are back on the practice field for the first time this week as they prepare for their AFC wild-card matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

The official Wednesday injury report hasn’t been released at this time, but we do know from ESPN’s Michael DiRocco is that during the open viewing portion of practice, left tackle Cole Van Lanen and cornerback Jarrian Jones were not spotted on the practice field.

DiRocco also notes that cornerbacks Greg Newsome and Montaric Brown, along with defensive end Danny Striggow, were wearing non-contact tops.

Van Lanen exited Sunday’s game against Tennessee with a knee injury. Jones played a team-high 48 defensive snaps in that game.

Van Lanen has started at left tackle for the Jaguars over the last month of action. Walker Little has recently moved to right guard with Patrick Mekari out.

Little would presumably be the next man up at left tackle if needed, but we will see how the week goes.

Brown played 41 snaps this past Sunday, Newsome 34, and Striggow 11 in his first game back from an ankle injury.

Be sure to check back in this afternoon for the full Wednesday injury report.
