Comedian Sal Vulcano is swapping the hidden cameras and public displays of second-hand embarrassment for a stage and some good old fashioned stand-up this weekend, and Orlando’s getting a front-row seat.
Vulcano, co-creator and one of the stars of reality series Impractical Jokers, is bringing his national “Everything’s Fine” tour to Steinmetz Hall. Since the Jokers’ wide success and 12 seasons (and counting), Vulcano and his co-stars have toured both individually and together, garnering sold-out shows and sets filled with bits and pieces of the comedy encapsulated on television screens.
Vulcano’s clocked in more than a decade of impractically joking around, and we’re sure we’ll see that same energy on our hometown stage.
5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, Steinmetz Hall, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, 445 S. Magnolia Ave., drphillipscenter.org, $52-$135.
