TAMPA — Comedian Stavros Halkias will bring “The Dreamboat Tour” to the Tampa Bay area for a show on Thursday, Jan. 15, 8 p.m., in the Hard Rock Event Center at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 5223 Orient Road, Tampa.

Hailing originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Halkias now calls New York City home. The comedian, actor, and writer recently wrote, produced, and starred in the indie comedy “Let’s Start a Cult.” His latest stand-up special, “Fat Rascal,” is streaming on Netflix, following his debut special “Live at the Lodge Room,” which hit 1 million views in its first four days and has since surpassed 7 million.
One of the most in-demand touring comedians today, Halkias’ podcast “Stavvy’s World” debuted at No. 3 on the iTunes Comedy Charts, amassing hundreds of thousands of subscribers in its first year. He appears in Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Bugonia” and in A24’s “Tony,” a film about Anthony Bourdain. He also stars in the Netflix comedy series “Tires,” which was recently renewed for a third season. He was featured in Steven Soderbergh’s sci-fi series “Command Z.”
