A doctor and a woman were found dead at their Coconut Creek home on Monday in an apparent murder-suicide, police said.
According to Coconut Creek Police, the incident happened at around 4 a.m. at a home in the 4800 block of Acardian Trail in Coconut Creek’s Paloma Lakes.
Police identified the doctor as 34-year-old Jean Dominque Foureau and his romantic partner as a 38-year-old woman. The woman’s name has not been released.
While the two were not married, they did have a child, but it’s unclear if they were there at the time of the incident, police said.
Online records show that Dr. Foureau was a Chief Resident at Broward Health Emergency Medicine, and he was a Battalion Surgeon for the Florida Army National Guard.
An investigation into the incident remains active.
