Dr. Neal Dunn, the U.S. representative for Florida’s 2nd congressional district, released a statement supporting the recent action by the Trump administration in Venezuela.
“This week, the United States military successfully captured Nicolás Maduro, the illegitimate dictator of Venezuela. For years, the Maduro regime has enabled drug trafficking operations that poisoned American communities and turned Venezuela into a haven for cartels and criminal networks. With Maduro indicted and removed from power, the Venezuelan people are finally free,” Dunn said.
Dunn continued, “It is in America’s national interest to be surrounded by safe, secure, and stable nations. I commend President Trump, Secretary Hegseth, General Caine, and our brave servicemembers for executing this mission, Operation Absolute Resolve, with precision and strength. We truly have the greatest fighting force in the world.”
