Former FSU running back Kam Davis has committed to the Liberty Flames, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Davis spent two seasons in Tallahassee, playing in 13 total games and rushing for 224 yards and one touchdown on 60 carries. He also caught five passes for 67 yards. The Albany, Georgia native will have three seasons of eligibility with the Flames after redshirting in 2025.
He was a key member of FSU’s 2024 recruiting class, which has been gutted by transfers. Davis was their fourth-highest rated commit and one of the top running backs the Seminoles have signed under Mike Norvell. He was ranked as the No. 98 overall player and No. 7 running back in the 247Sports composite
While Davis was never able to take on the role that the Seminoles envisioned for him, the running back room is still in a good spot. They return Ousmane Kromah and Samuel Singleton Jr., who both flashed their potential in 2025 and look primed for bigger roles. They have also landed former Texas running back Quintrevion Wisner out of the portal, giving them a proven player to lead the room.
Davis ranked as the No. 332 overall player and No. 31 running back in the transfer portal by 247Sports.
