One worker was hospitalized after being exposed to a chemical at a manufacturing facility, according to St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Petersburg fire crews are currently on the scene of a hazmat-related incident at a manufacturing facility on Terminal Drive South. Â
Officials tell 10 Tampa Bay News that one worker was exposed to a chemical and was taken to Bayfront Hospital for evaluation, where they are said to be stable. St. Petersburg Fire Rescue is currently trying to identify the products that were involved.Â
The agency says there is no immediate danger to the public.
