Our Miami Dolphins will travel north today to take on the equally woeful Cleveland Browns. Both teams enter this game with a 1-5 record, but it seems the Dolphins, more so than the Browns, have more to lose than the game this afternoon. Many fans, including myself, believed that last week’s game against the LA Chargers was a must-win for Phins head coach Mike McDaniel and/or general manager Chris Grier if they had hoped to hold onto their jobs beyond this past week. The overly patient owner, Stephen Ross, is said to be “extremely frustrated”, but allowed both men to survive yet another week. Would a loss this week finally be the breaking point for Ross? I do not know when that day will arrive, and perhaps the team pulls out today’s game against the Browns and goes on a run, but will it be enough in the end?
