As Miami continues their march through the playoff bracket, the details for each game have been firmly known. That is the case with the National Championship Game, slated to be played on Monday, January 19th at 7:30pm eastern. The game will be televised on ESPN.

Their opponent in the CFP National Championship Game: the #1 seed Indiana Hoosiers.

Miami is ranked #10 in the College Football Playoff rankings, and has been the talk of the town since getting in. They went on the road and beat the #7 seed Texas A&M Aggies 10-3 in the first round, then followed that up with a dominant 24-14 win over the defending National Champion #2 seed Ohio State Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl Classic Quarterfinal, and followed that up with a 31-27 win over the #6 seed Ole Miss Rebels in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Semifinal. Miami has shown their mettle as one of the best and most physical teams in the country, and they look to continue that in the National Championship Game.

The only undefeated team in the country, Indiana is #1 and enters the National Championship game after a pair of blowouts following their first round bye. They blasted #9 Alabama 38-3 in the Rose Bowl Quarterfinal, and absolutely demolished #5 Oregon in the Peach Bowl Semifinal 56-22 in a game that wasn’t even as close as that lopsided score would have you believe.

Mario Cristobal’s team is hot and playing their best football. Indiana has been the best team in the country this season, and they’ve taken their already stellar performance to new heights of excellence in the College Football Playoffs. This sets up an epic matchup for the Championship and I can’t WAIT!

We’ll have much, much more commentary and analysis about the matchup over the next 10 days, but now you can get your watch party plans in order, and get everything you need for the game.
