STUART — MCSO have arrested a young man after leading deputies on a high speed pursuit in Stuart.
According to MCSO, 18-year-old Anthony Dicicco sped past deputies at an excessive rate of speed along Federal Highway and Northwest Wright Boulevard in Stuart.
Deputies started a pursuit but then backed off due to Dicicco’s reckless driving and high speeds.
Deputies performed a pit maneuver and Dicicco was removed from the vehicle.
When asked why he ran from deputies, Dicicco replied, “I don’t know. It was dumb.”
He was charged with felony fleeing and eluding.
