The warm weather will continue into the weekend with the next cold front on the way Sunday. 

Saturday will be sunny to partly cloudy and warm with highs between 77 and 81.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the 60s.

Sunday will turn breezy and cloudy as a front approaches. There will only be a 20% chance of a passing shower with the front.  

Highs will be in the 70s before the front passes. Then colder air will move in Sunday night.

Beach and boating

Saturday will be the better day for both beach and boating conditions.  

Clouds will increase on Sunday and the winds will turn breezy as a cold front approaches.

PINELLAS

Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks Craft Festival | Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Support local small businesses and explore pottery, crafts, handmade jewelry, artisan products and much more at the historic Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs. The event is also pet-friendly.

Liquid To Land: History Boat Tour | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. | $45: On this tour, you’ll discover the history of St. Petersburg from the water – the good, the bad, and the funny. Learn what brought notorious local landmarks to life, and what happened to the Tampa Bay ecosystem as a result.

Water Street Tampa’s Pirate Pup Parade | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Watch pups dressed in their best pirate gear strut through Water Street Tampa in celebration of Gasparilla, all for a good cause. Guests can also enjoy face painting, pet caricatures, pet adoptions and more.

Jun Kaneko: Silence Before Sound | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. | $25: “Jun Kaneko: Silence Before Sound” represents the first major exhibition of Kaneko’s oeuvre in Florida and will present an overview of the artist’s career.

Pioneer Medical Foundation Health Fair | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Local physicians, volunteers, and community partners will provide free medical care, preventive screenings, and social support to underserved residents and those with limited access to care.

Day of Caring | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.: This kid-focused event is put on by Florida Children’s Museum and the MLK Commission of Lakeland. This celebration brings all children together to bridge communities.

Siesta Key Drum Circle | 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.: The Siesta Key Drum Circle is a musical gathering that takes place every Sunday evening an hour before sunset on Siesta Beach in Sarasota. It serves as a meeting point for musicians, dancers, and anyone who appreciates the beats and rhythms of African, Latin, Caribbean, and other global music traditions.
