JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Police say two people were injured in a fight that led to a shooting and a stabbing in Jacksonville Saturday morning.
Jacksonville Police say they responded to 148 Brynn Marr Road just before 2 a.m. for reports of a shooting.
Officers arrived on scene and found one person with gunshot wounds. Police say this person was transported to a hospital in the area.
While on scene investigating the shooting, officers were alerted that another person had been taken to the hospital with injuries from a stabbing.
Police say the evidence suggests the two people knew each other and got into a fight that led to violence.
