It is a Saturday night frenzy on the Florida State football front.

An hour after true freshman Kevin Wynn announced his intention to enter the transfer portal, another freshman decided to reverse course. On3 first reported that true freshman wide receiver Jayvan Boggs has decided to withdraw his name from the transfer portal and stay in Tallahassee.

Boggs’ return to FSU is massive for the Seminoles, both on and off the field. On the field, the Central Florida native should be Florida State’s #2 WR next year behind Duce Robinson after WR Lawayne McCoy said he would depart from the program through the portal. Off the field, it is a huge optics boost for a program that badly needs it. Mike Norvell is bleeding players, especially underclassmen, and getting a valuable piece back stops the onslaught.

Boggs battled injures in his freshman season and finished the 2025 campaign with nine receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown.
