Florida State is getting a key player back for 2026. Hayes Fawcett of On3 reports that true freshman wide receiver Jayvan Boggs is returning to FSU after originally entering the transfer portal. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-1, 211-pounder was the No. 151 overall prospect and the No. 40 wide receiver according to 247Sports transfer rankings. He had taken visits to Ole Miss and Missouri before coming back to the Seminoles.
Boggs played in eight games in 2025. He finished with just nine receptions for 103 yards and one touchdown. However, his route-running prowess, yards after the catch ability, and strong hands provide plenty of upside going into next season.
In addition to Boggs running it back, Florida State was able to convince First-Team All-ACC performer Duce Robinson and the electric Micahi Danzy to return in 2026 as well. They also have blue-chip signees Jasen Lopez, Devin Carter, and Efrem White joining the roster, giving them a ton of talent at wide receiver going forward.
FSU has had over 30 players leave the program, including true freshman defensive tackle Kevin Wynn earlier on Saturday night. Getting Boggs to return was huge for them.
