The AFC gets its first playoff game of the year with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on the road in Florida to take on the three-seed of Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars. This game has all of the hallmarks of a shootout style game late. I have a feeling the team with the ball last might be the one that wins, which means we’re going to see a 13-10 barnburner instead… I kid, I kid.

Kickoff is set for Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Mile High time at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida and will air on CBS.

According to FanDuel, the Jaguars are slight 1.5-point home favorites over the Bills. I flipflopped between both teams on this prediction. Ultimately, I came down with experience. Allen and the Bills have been here before and are truly battle tested in elimination games. The Jaguars are like the Denver Broncos last year. Lacking in playoff experience and it could show here. I don’t think it’ll be a blowout, because the Bills defense has been a bit suspect this season. But when the game is on the line, I think I trust Josh Allen just a little bit more right now.

Prediction: Bills 33, Jaguars 31.
