CHARLOTTE COUNTY – Charlotte County Fire & EMS responded to a crash at the intersection of Cochran Boulevard and Tamiami Trail in Charlotte County on Sunday.
Authorities said a vehicle struck a person in a wheelchair, leading to the individual being transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
