For Clay Today
ORANGE PARK – In partnership with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Orange Park Mall is reinforcing a youth supervision policy for future visits.
Starting Oct. 17, guests under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 21 years old on Fridays and Saturdays. Each guardian should accompany no more than four minors.
The policy is an expansion of the one currently enforced at the AMC Theater.
With support from county leaders, tenants and community representatives, the policy is one of many efforts to enhance the mall’s welcoming atmosphere.
“This policy reflects priorities identified in collaboration with the Clay County community,” said Randy Bowman, general manager of the Orange Park Mall. “We are committed to providing an environment where families, neighbors and visitors feel welcome. These enhancements, along with our local partnerships, help ensure that Orange Park Mall continues its long-standing role as a family-friendly center for the community.”
“Orange Park Mall has been an important part of Clay County for over 50 years, and we are proud to partner with them to ensure the center reflects the values of our community,” said Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook. “Together, we are excited to work alongside the Orange Park Mall team to build a stronger community for families, residents and businesses.”
This initiative builds on Second Horizon Capital’s efforts toward shaping the future of the Orange Park Mall through reinvestment and community partnership. By enhancing infrastructure, expanding amenities and strengthening programming, the Orange Park Mall is focused on continuing to thrive as a vibrant hub where Clay County comes together for decades to come.
