The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is searching for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run that left a motorcyclist with injuries.

The hit-and-run happened at around 11 p.m. Jan. 6 in the area of Northwest 54th Street and 22nd Avenue, authorities said.

According to deputies, the victim was riding her motorcycle east on 54th Street when a red 2017 GMC Yukon Denali, driving in the opposite direction, collided with her.

The Denali was last seen traveling southbound on Northwest 22nd Avenue and 54th Street. It has damage to its right side, including the front right door and possibly the front right fender.

Detectives are asking if anyone has information regarding this incident, the driver of the vehicle, or the whereabouts of the red Denali to please contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).

If the tip leads to an arrest, the tipster may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
