STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A crash between a vehicle and a Brightline train has closed Southeast Dixie Highway in Stuart on Wednesday night.

According to the Stuart Police Department (SPD), Southeast Dixie Highway near Southeast Decker Avenue is closed after a Brightline train struck an unoccupied vehicle.

At this time it’s unclear how the vehicle ended up on the tracks or where the driver could be.
