Pedestrian airlifted to hospital after crash in Palm City, drivers face delays

PALM CITY, Fla. (CBS12) — A vehicle vs pedestrian crash in Palm City has resulted in a hospitalization and traffic delays on Tuesday morning.

The Martin County Sheriff’s office announced at 7:26 a.m. that the crash occurred on Martin Downs Boulevard and Mapp Road.

The Sheriff’s Office said that the pedestrian is being flown to a local hospital with injuries.

Officials are urging drivers to expect delays in the area.
