Caitlin Carducci was named the Orlando Pride’s new VP of soccer operations & general manager on Tuesday.

The announcement concludes a two-month search following the unexpected departure of Haley Carter, the previous VP of Soccer Operations & General Manager, who left the club in November to join fellow NWSL side Washington Spirit.

Carducci joins Orlando after spending the past three seasons with the Kansas City Current. During her tenure with the Current, she helped build a team that went on to win the NWSL Shield in 2025, marking a record-setting season. The Current established new records for wins (21), points (65), and shutouts (16) in a season, and became the fastest team in league history to win the NWSL Shield.

Her experience will be vital as Orlando heads into the 2026 season looking to rebound after a disappointing end in the semifinals last season. Orlando has limited roster flexibility, meaning Carducci will need to be creative to improve the roster.

Barbra Banda’s return will be key for the Pride, but moves in the periphery of the squad will go a long way towards helping head coach Seb Hines and the team maximize its potential. Carducci has proven she can build a talented and cohesive squad, and the Pride will count on her to help continue the winning culture established over the last few seasons.
