TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The City of Tallahassee announced resurfacing work on 7th Avenue.
Beginning January 13, resurfacing work will close 7th Avenue between Monroe and Duval Street. The road will be fully closed on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Work on 7th Avenue between Thomasville Road and Monroe Street will take place on Thursday, Jan. 15. The road will closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Thursday, northbound access to Meridian Road will be blocked, as well.

The city tells drivers to expect delays on Thomasville Road coming into Midtown on Thursday.
Residents and business owners who live or work within the closed portions of 7th Avenue will still have access. Detour routes will be posted.
According to the city, resurfacing work is expected to be finished this week.
