The Orlando Pride have a new vice president of soccer operations and general manager. Caitlin Carducci was hired for the role, the team announced on Tuesday. She takes over as the new Pride boss following Hayley Carter’s departure in November. “Caitlin is a proven leader whose experience across every level of women’s soccer and history of building championship-caliber rosters set her apart,” said Mark Wilf, Orlando Pride Owner & Chairman. “She emerged as the clear choice in our search with her deep expertise, strong reputation and a vision that aligns with our culture. Caitlin is the ideal person to elevate the strong foundation we have established and position the Pride for sustained success.” Carducci was previously the general manager of the Kansas City Current, where she spent 19 months leading the team to the 2024 NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup and 2025 NWSL Shield. “I’m incredibly honored and excited to take on this role and help elevate the strong foundation that the club’s players, staff, and supporters have already created,” said Carducci. “The chance to work with the Wilf Family, whose leadership and investment reflect their commitment to a world‑class organization, along with a championship‑level roster and technical staff, made this an easy decision. Bloom Sports Partners, which conducted the search for the position, shortly reached out to Carducci to begin the interview process. “The short headline is you’ve got a very clear idea right away, she knows her stuff, and that’s really the bottom line,” Wilf said on Carducci. “It’s also the way she she kind of presents a way that she wants to build things collaboratively. She understands the game. She’s been around in very high level positions at league level, at federation level, so she has a tremendously interesting and broad breadth of experience.”Carducci shared that preseason training camp starts next week and is in conversations with head coach Seb Hines on getting the team ready for the start of the 2026 NWSL season. “We’ll we’ll see what happens when the ball gets out on the field, and what if any adjustments we need to make to ensure that this is a competitive, top quality team that can last the course from March all the way to November,” said Carducci.
