TAMPA, Fla. — K-pop superstars BTS are making their return to the global stage with the announcement of their world tour, featuring back-to-back shows in Tampa.

The group will start the North American span of their tour at Raymond James Stadium on April 25 and 26, officials said. This will be the first time the group has performed in Tampa.

BTS, an acronym of “Bangtan Sonyeondan” or “Beyond the Scene,” is a Grammy-nominated South Korean boyband that has been performing since June 2013. The group went on hiatus for nearly four years as the members completed mandatory military service in South Korea.

The tour will feature “a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design,” which will create an immersive setup placing the audience at the center of the experience while allowing for increased capacity at every venue, officials said.

Tickets will be available for presale on Jan. 22 beginning at 9 a.m. Fans must register online by Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. to access the presale. General tickets will be available on Saturday, Jan. 24 at LiveNation.com.
