Fans of the South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach should get excited, as the event is set to return for another year.

The South Florida Fair will open its doors on Friday and will run through Feb.1, and the theme for this year’s fair is “Party with the Pirates.”

With the fair opening soon, here are some things you should know.

Tickets

Several ticket options include discounts.

For children ages 11 and older, there will be $12 tickets available at Publix or online through Friday.

If you have advanced tickets, you can use use it on Jan. 16 to get in for free and then keep your ticket to use it for another day.

For Martin Luther King Jr. Day, admission and a ride wristband for advanced ticket holders will cost $30.

On Thursday, Jan. 22 and Jan. 29, it’s Buy one, Get one free, and on Tuesday, Jan. 20 and Jan. 27, admission, rides and food will each cost $2.

New in 2026

Since the fair’s theme this year is Party with the Pirates, guests will be able to see pirate shows daily, and there will be a family-friendly hidden speakeasy with mocktails and cocktails.

Some other new attractions include the Skull and Crossbones Wheel of Death, which the fair is touting as the world’s only pirate‑themed high wire stunt, Taste the Treasure Tour, where guests can try 19 pirate‑themed foods and can vote on a winner, and  Legends of the Frozen Cove Ice Show, a pirate ice-skating show.
