TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Lincoln High School student was arrested Wednesday and charged with false imprisonment and battery after an incident occurred in a campus bathroom, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.

Surveillance footage showed multiple students “attempting to drag another student into a bathroom by holding the student’s arms,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a press release Wednesday morning.

Detectives later determined that the victim was pushed into a bathroom stall and prevented from exiting, deputies said.

At that time, LCSO said a 14-year-old male student held the victim “against his will and engaged in unwanted touching.” The sheriff’s office did not share additional details regarding the circumstances of the unwanted touch. WCTV has reached out to the sheriff’s office for more details.

As a result, the 14-year-old who LCSO identified as a ninth grader was arrested and charged with false imprisonment and battery, per the sheriff’s office.
