The city of Sanibel and city’s 50th Anniversary Workgroup announced that Bank of the Islands was the lead sponsor for Lunch & Legacy: Gathering Together at the Table on Jan. 10 at City Hall on Sanibel. It followed the installation of the Sanibel Time Capsule: Honoring our Past, Charting Our Future at 11 a.m. The ceremony marked the conclusion of the city’s 18-month celebration honoring Sanibel’s 50th anniversary. Afterward, the Sanibel community came together to commemorate the once-in-a-generation moment with food, fun and fanfare provided by the bank.
