SAFETY HARBOR, Fla. — Emergency crews responded to an active construction site Wednesday afternoon in Safety Harbor after a person fell into a hole.Â
Brady Hummer, a deputy chief with the Safety Harbor Fire Department, confirmed that the Pinellas County Technical Rescue Team responded and safely removed the person from the trench.Â
The person was evaluated by EMS on scene and transported to a hospital for further assessment and treatment. Their current condition is unknown.
