Mid-January in Punta Gorda means waterfront breezes, live music drifting through the park, and the irresistible aroma of fresh seafood in the air. The Punta Gorda Seafood & Music Festival returns to Laishley Park Jan. 16-18, inviting the community to enjoy a three-day outdoor celebration of food, music, and easygoing coastal fun.

Now in its fifth year, the festival has become a winter staple along the harbor, offering a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where locals and visitors can spend the weekend sampling great food, discovering new music, and enjoying time outdoors. Produced by Paragon Festivals, the event features free general admission, making it easy to drop in for an afternoon or stay for the day.

Food is front and center, with chefs preparing a wide range of dishes onsite — from fresh seafood favorites to hearty meat selections and satisfying vegetarian options. Guests can round out their meals with sides, desserts, and a full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, all enjoyed just steps from the water.

Live performances fill the park throughout the weekend, showcasing a rotating lineup of Florida-based and regional musicians across blues, rock, funk, and soul.

Between sets, festivalgoers can browse an arts and crafts marketplace featuring original artwork, handmade goods, glasswork, gourmet food items, and unique specialty products-perfect for discovering one-of-a-kind finds while enjoying the music.

Designed for all ages, the Punta Gorda Seafood & Music Festival provides a laid-back setting where friends, families, and leashed pets are welcome to enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of the waterfront together.
