Former FSU defensive lineman Tyeland Coleman has found his next home, committing to the Arkansas State Red Wolves. He spent just one season with the Seminoles after signing with them as a JUCO prospect in the 2025 recruiting class.
Coleman played in two games for FSU, recording two tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, and 1.0 sack. He is ranked as the No. 953 overall player and No. 96 defensive lineman in the transfer portal by 247Sports.
He started his career at Northwest Mississippi Community College, spending the 2023 and 2024 seasons with them. He played in 18 career games, recording 31 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and one pass breakup.
Coleman was ranked as the No. 20 overall player and No. 7 defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite JUCO rankings. He will have at least two seasons of eligibility at Arkansas State, but could have more depending on how the NCAA handles his time at the JUCO level.
He is one of 10 FSU defensive linemen who entered the transfer portal after the season. They have added Rylan Kennedy out of the portal and also convinced defensive lineman Kevin Wynn to return after he initially planned to enter the portal.
