TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Madison County softball player Logan Bass signed to compete at the next level Wednesday, and she isn’t going too far from home.
Bass will make the hour trip west down I-10 to play for Tallahassee State College. She said being close to home played a big part in her decision to become an Eagle.
She’s been a varsity athlete since her ninth grade year. The infielder said she’s excited to compete at the collegiate level. She said it was a lot of hard to get to this point, and she’s ready to live a dream she’s had since she was a little girl.
“Practice would start at a certain time and I’d make sure I was there early,” she said. “On weekends, after practice, all that really attributes to that. Thank you to all my teammates and all my friends and really everyone around me who supported me on and off the field like I said in my speech up there.”
