According to an arrest report, Foster’s son said his father confronted him after he’d gone to a lake behind his home a couple weeks before winter break after he’d been told not to.
He said Foster grabbed a hanger and extension cord and struck him on his back and rear end, the report said.
On Wednesday, the boy was removing his jacket at school and his shirt was partially lifted when a teacher saw his injuries.
He told the teacher what happened and the school contacted police.
A detective responded and found the child with marks on his back, chest and rear end, the report said.
When Foster arrived at the school to pick up his son, he was taken into custody.
Foster denied abusing the boy, claiming another child must have injured him, but was arrested and booked into jail, the report said.
