The City of Cape Coral invites the public to its third annual WaterWays Science Festival on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cultural Park, 528 Cultural Park Boulevard.

This free, family-friendly event will feature educational activities and games that highlight the importance of waterways. Attendees will learn about local, regional, and global water concerns. 
The event also features:

Live animals
Mangrove and native tree/plant giveaways
Volunteer opportunities
Arts and crafts
A mermaid experience
Hands-on water laboratory experiments
Boating education and safety information
Food trucks
Neurodivergent-friendly activities
And more

This science festival encourages community action on environmental issues that affect everyone through education, art, and fun activities.
