Hialeah, FL. – The prestigious creator and artist Eleazar Soriano Santana, (Xtremee_Ghost) became the only Dominican-American
awarded in his field in the celebration of the Centennial of the founding of the City of Hialeah, thus recognizing, in addition to his art in the Comic, “his positive impact and cultural contribution in the Hispanic community” and with it his contributions from the diaspora of the Dominican Republic in the United States in this human creative expression.
Xtremee_Ghost, as his artistic name is, was distinguished with a beautiful Certificate that so states it by the City of Hialeah on its Centenary, marking a historical milestone, based on his artistic-cultural career in the United States and great contributions for Hispanics.
This Dominican-American graduated with honors from Broward College in Florida, where he was also the designer of the first digital newspaper of the University, while within his artistic and creator role, Xtremee_Ghost, also performed the feat of recreating the famous Thundercats in HD, already reaching one million views on YouTube.

The recognition of Soriano Santana was delivered on behalf of Mayor Jacqueline García Roves, by Raquel Goico Goris, head of
her office and received on behalf of the award-winning Dominican-American artist, by his mother, journalist Rose Mary Santana, who thanked on his behalf “this distinction which is not only an achievement for the Dominican Republic and its diaspora, but also has a positive impact among Hispanics in the United States, where we are achieving exceptional achievements in the promotion of art and culture and other important areas.”

Raquel Goico, head of the Office of the First Mayor of the City, speaking on her behalf, expressed that “as a Dominican, she is proud of Eleazar’s achievements”, while qualifying “as excellent his contributions to the community in art and comics” and therefore to the City of Hialeah.
Eleazar Soriano Santana, who was unable to attend to receive his award, after delivery by his representative, said “feeling grateful to God for this recognition, which he dedicates to his deceased grandmother, his family, especially his partner Jessica Rodriguez, after overcoming breast cancer and everyone who has supported his career, where he gives soul, life and heart, to contribute to the growth of Hispanic art in the United States through his creations and also to the authorities of the City of Hialeah for the honor of the recognition.”
Brief about Xtremee_Ghost
Eleazar Soriano Santana graduated with honors from Broward College. As a result, he has achieved several relevant professional successes in his career. He currently works for Miami Dade College, where he received the “Gold Award for Excellence” for his art during Women’s Heritage Month.
He was selected as “Outstanding Dominican Abroad” by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Dominican Republic after receiving the official award at the Consulate General in Miami, where he reiterated his roots.
Also, the MiamiDiario newspaper in Miami considered Eleazar Soriano as “Latino Pride” and recently received recognition from Latin Business Network and the Miami Dade County Elections Supervisory Office, while continuing to achieve other great accomplishments in his career, promoting Hispanic art and culture.
His creation in the Overwatch game character, known as X-Men from the 90s Era, went viral on social media, where he captured scenes that attract the attention of young people and adults.
