Seminole student named to Lebanon Valley Dean’s List

ANNVILLE, Penn. — Jackson Sullivan of Seminole has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester at Lebanon Valley College.

Dean’s list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Sullivan is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in exploratory at The Valley and is a graduate of Keswick Christian School.

Seminole Historical Museum opens

The Seminole Historical Museum located at Seminole City Park, 7464 Ridge Road, is now open.

View new 3D fossil display figurines and fossil display from Boca Ciega Millennium Park and check out City of Seminole and Fire Department displays.

The museum is open Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Reforestation planting set for Lake Seminole

Join MAR & Pinellas County for a winter morning of hands-on environmental restoration at Lake Seminole Park Saturday, Jan. 24, from 9-11 a.m. This volunteer-driven native tree planting event will support local ecosystems, improve habitat, and strengthen the long-term resilience of this important watershed.

Guided by experienced staff, volunteers will learn proper planting techniques and ecological best practices while making a tangible impact on the local environment. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or brand new to restoration work, this event is a meaningful way to give back to your community.

Participants should bring closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor work, wear comfortable layers for a cool winter morning near the water, a refillable water bottle, a hat and sunscreen.
