A man crashed into multiple cars that were stopped for a traffic signal before speeding off and crashing into a light pole and fence, officers said.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Petersburg police say they charged a man for a hit-and-run that left him screaming for help after he crashed multiple times.

Officers said Johnerik Track, 28, was driving on Sunday in a 2012 Dodge Ram truck on First Avenue North when he crashed into cars that were stopped at the light at the 16th Street North intersection. Those cars were pushed into other vehicles, and one person suffered minor injuries, according to a news release. 

Police said Track then drove away and hit a light pole. After, he crashed into a fence near 20th Avenue North and Second Avenue North and left the truck there, according to officers.

Police found him lying in a nearby front yard, screaming for help. Track was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for minor injuries. 

On Wednesday, he was charged with leaving the scene of a crash with injury, three counts of leaving the scene of a crash with property damage and reckless driving with property damage and injury.Â
