One hundred percent of the 2025 Oasis High School graduating class walked the stage and graduated, and the accolades did not stop there.

During a board meeting Tuesday, Oasis High School Principal Jackie Corey gave a presentation on how the senior class did with test scores last year.

The lowest 25% of students had a 12% increase on their test scores.

U.S. History scores were off the charts, Corey said, with an 11% increase.

Math, on the other hand, for the lowest 25% of students saw a decrease. She said with a high performing middle school producing great results in math, some of the struggling math students, who were very low, had difficulty moving scores up.

Corey said they are being very reflective and creative when looking at the scores. She said there are now interactive notebooks – essentially a laser-focused study guide – schoolwide that has really helped kids become much more successful.

The students also had a 100% pass rate in their English General Paper for Cambridge. Corey said they encourage all juniors to take at least one Cambridge class, the college course called General Paper.

“Every student in our building has access to a college course in our high school,” she said.

Seventy-nine percent of their general education students who took the general paper walked away with a college credit.
