PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — An undercover operation led to the arrest of a man who was found with fentanyl and crack cocaine in his home, according to the Port St. Lucie Police Department.

On Wednesday, the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) executed a search warrant at the home of Thomas Brauer, where they found 20 grams of fentanyl, 5.5 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials. The arrest followed a period of thorough surveillance conducted by undercover detectives.

Brauer was booked on counts of trafficking fentanyl, sale of fentanyl, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brauer is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail.
